Is smoking allowed?This is a smoke free event. You can have a smoke outside the venue but need to present your wristband for re-entry.

What about pets?We love animals, but unfortunately there are no animals allowed at Reggae Fest.

What If there is smoke haze or poor air quality?You can monitor the EPA categories for smoke haze at EPA Airwatch . Please consider the recommendations for your own health and wellbeing.

Can I bring my own seating or picnic rug?Make yourself comfortable! You can bring picnic rugs and deck chairs. Please note, they cannot be placed on walkways, or directly in front of the stage… we want everyone to be able to move freely around the event and enjoy the Caribbean Vybz from anywhere you choose to sit on the grounds.

Can children come?Children are welcome to Reggae Fest as it is a family friendly event, including activities for the Children. Children 12 and under are FREE and 13yrs to 17 yrs old are $25.00 online including GST. Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Can I get a passout?You will be given a wristband when you enter Reggae Fest. You are allowed to exit the venue and must present your wristband upon re-entry. Be aware that re-entry is only through the main entrance and you will be subject to a bag check again.

Where is Reggae Fest being held and what time is the festival?Reggae Fest will be held at Johnstone Park, Geelong CBD. Across the road from Geelong Train Station. The festival time is 12pm-8:30pm.

Will there be disability access available?Yes this is a disability friendly event with walkways all around the park for easy wheelchair access as well as disabled toilets on site.

How do I buy food, drink accessories?Cash will be accepted however we would prefer if you used the alternative method of a valid Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit, debit or EFTPOS card to purchase food, drinks and accessories from the vendor's on the day.

Can I bring my own food and drink?Unfortunately you can’t bring your own food and drinks, but don’t worry, it will be a fully catered event. There will be a range of gourmet food suppliers, coffee and free water available. We are ensuring there are many food stalls that cater for special dietary requirements. You can bring sealed bottles of water, or an empty vessel to fill onsite from one of our many water stations.

COVID-19 Ticket infoIn line with government requirements & health directions it is no longer a requirement for patrons to be Covid-19 vaccinated. We will continue to monitor Government requirements and guidelines.

What if I can’t make it and want to sell my ticket?There is only one official way for ticket resale. Please don’t sell or buy via social media, as scams are rife and there is no recourse whatsoever. Please contact info.irie.entertainement@gmail.com for more information.

What if the event is cancelled, do I get a refund?No, there will be no refund but alternatively a new event date will be offered to all ticket holders.

Do I get a discount if I pre-purchase my ticket?Yes pre-purchased tickets will be available prior to the show for $49.50 including GST (excludes Eventbrite booking fee). Children 12 and under are FREE and 13yrs to 17 yrs old are $22.20 including GST (excludes Eventbrite booking fee). Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Concession tickets are $40.70 incl. GST (excludes Eventbrite booking fee). Please ensure to bring your concession card & ID on the day.

Can I buy tickets at the gate?Unless sold out prior, tickets will be available at the gate – $65 incl. GST Children 12 and under are FREE and 13yrs to 17 yrs old are $35 incl. GST Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Concession tickets are $55 incl. GST. Please ensure to bring your concession card & ID on the day.

I’ve lost/misplaced my ticketWhen you purchased your ticket, it was emailed to you, so please check junk mail folders. The first time an email address buys an eventbrite ticket, an account is created for that email address. So you can use your eventbrite account to find all ticket(s) bought via that email address.

How do I get to Reggae Fest?Getting to Reggae Fest at Johnstone Park in Geelong is easy with many options available. TRAIN There are regular train services to Geelong station on V/Line. Johnstone Park is across the road from the train statioin. BUS Local and regional buses to Geelong Train Station are available along with the option of the Geelong CBD bus with bus stops only a couple of blocks away from Johnstone Park. FERRY Take Port Phillip Ferries direct from Melbourne Docklands to Geelong water front with only a short walk to Johnstone Park. What do you get for volunteering?We appreciate your time and involvement in Reggae Fest and in return offer you: Free entry, free meal and free drink available.

What are your responsibilities?You are required to attend an information and induction session 2 weeks prior to the event. Arrive 15minute before your shift to register and fulfil the duties of your role for the period of your shift. Any questions there will be a volunteer co-ordinator on site the entire festival.

What will you be doing?All volunteers will perform different duties including customer service, provide event information to the patrons, assisting event staff along with ground keeping and monitoring.
